day 16 and i am taking a break this morning

i desperately need to get to the feed store for hay for the ducks and new chickens
and stall pellets too
i need to go to the po
i could use a swing by the book store and the craft store (beads for the next few knits)
and i would love to go and get the budgies a couple more toys
(and maybe a couple more budgies???? i would LOVE a lutino and a violet..... and maybe a sky blue and one of them chartruse glow in the dark greens.....that would fill my aviary up too)

today is wenesday right?

it seems to be raining a bit here but i think bernie is getting snow down there!
he didn't stoke the stove for me this morning, as he said it was full of ash.... but really it wasn't bad....however the ash bucket is FULL......
i lit the fire

last night one of the baby chickens got out and was running around the basement......bernie put her back but i may have to get the flight netting out for their run
i would imagine phoebe was a bit unsettled

i think they are all going out to the day pens today, it looks like the snows are almost gone

i spoke to deb about snowy yesterday, i would imagine she (and he) will be out here by end of march.... we are going to rename him... i would imagine something that will sort of go with thaddeaus and calpurrnia. i was thinking of something out of hamlet..hahaha larertes?

i have yet to start the seeds, which also needs to be done today or at least this week as well as the taxes.....will someone light a fire under me?

also today we have a problem with calpurrnia, she's got the runs a bit
i am giving her the medicine but so far it's not helping as fast as usual OR she is continuing to do something that is not helping
i just gave her another dose (twice a day works normally for a few days)
and some fancy feast
ok i am eating my oatmeal now and about to get the ducks out etc

birdlegs from TN called me yesterday but didn't leave a message...i called her back and i did leave a message (mo called too, but her i actually got to talk to which was pretty cool)
