i'm back, on a laptop i ordered yesterday, via jen's computer
it arrived today, but i didn't know it until i almost fell over it on the way out to check the rain dam on the upper driveway (which is broken btw)
so while i am back, i can't stand the keyboard on the laptop
however over all i am pleased with it so far
it's an acer aspire and it was 349 free ship from new egg
now to fix the desktop
you's didn't even have time to miss me!

ReplyDeleteWe hate the laptop keyboards, too, so we have regular keyboards hooked up to our laptops. It works fine, since we keep them on the computer desks, and don't cart them around places (unless we travel).
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that you will adjust to the new keyboard in time. It's the mouse that would drive me nuts. I have a rollerball for my desktop, and can't imagine using anything else, ever! :)
