we'll see how this one goes

i am not going to follow this drawing as daily i think as the last one, but i figured you all would like to see how this one started out....first there is the rendering and the ducks are outlined inked in, as you can see on the left that's the photo of our driveway looking up towards the road that i started with (this will be a first that i work a forest landscape off a photo, normally i am 'live' or out of my head........never before off a photo that i remember) the ducks are always a combination of live and photo's though. i really liked that photo of the driveway and i think i posted it here last summer but in black and white..... i took both color and black/white ones..... so again we start!!!! let's hope this looks as nice as the last one...... i think it will as it has the potential to.

i really like that whole dark surrounding the bright light in the photo of the driveway and couldn't wait to do this..... the ducks often try to run up there but aren't allowed. it's too close to the road and the neighbors property lines so they aren't allowed.

now this week i think i am going to be doing an art supply order-i need more bristol for the pen and inks, and i am going to try and get a few 300# watercolor papers, the twinrocker and the saunders, both hot press and cold press (i am going to get full sheets but they are not cheap....... 10 are over 100$)

in a few minutes i am going to be taking the ducks out.....
